Glendening to be honored by CBIPL Please mark your calendars for an important Purple Line event. The Coalition to Build the Inner Purple Line will be honoring Gov. Parris N. Glendening for his leadership on this vital project. The former Governor - now a national leader on Smart Growth - will also discuss the key role transit plays in Smart Growth development. Please join the CBIPL board on May 2nd at 5 PM at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Auditorium, 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring. The CBIPL is non-profit organization consisting of a broad coalition of over 100 business, labor, environmental, smart growth and civic groups that are committed to seeing the construction of the Inner Purple Line, from Bethesda to New Carrollton.
